Due to the pandemic, we were saddened to have to cancel our normal Black & Gold Scholarship Gala. But, to continue outreach and fundraising, on April 26th, we shared our 2021 GBK Virtual Fundraiser Keynote featuring Dr. Eddie Glaude, author of, most recently, Begin Again: James Baldwin's America and Its Urgent Lessons for Our Own and Democracy in Black: How Race Still Enslaves the American Soul, and the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor of African American Studies and Chair of the Center for African American Studies and the Chair of the Department of African American Studies at Princeton University.
